This suit is black not.
What's that, you say? A new journal CSS? No wai! I just spent way too much time on this design, but yeah, I'm pretty happy with it. Going with the Screw IE state of mind, I was able to make/code the design to be really flexible and practical. And with some class. What makes this even more amazing is that I did all the coding on my own. Yeah. Thanks to
W3 Schools for subtly telling me that I'm a retard. Greatly appreciated. But hey, I be teh smarter with CSS now! Score! ...
I still have one problem with the CSS, and that is that the images in the top right and bottom left are layered on top of text, so the linkage up there is only hoverable/clickable when it's away from the image. Do any of you guys know how to get that image under the links, so that you can actually click them easily?Only elements that are absolutely positioned can be given a z-index property! Sweet!
And now that I just submitted this journal, I see that on the journal's page, where there aren't any "__ comments | previous journal entries" links, the bottom margins are screwed up. Any ideas? Some more absolute positioning helped the content to ignore those journalbottom links. WIN
Yeah... the CSS is complete now, I guess.
So yeah, if you haven't seen the
Perasto wallpaper that I released a while ago, check it out. You just might probably like it. (It got a rating of "Amzing!
" from
mauricioestrella; will that make you check it out?)
I've got some pretty good stuff on the to do list, so I'll be trying to find some time here and there to work on those projects.
Books smell good when you're not forced to read them.
From that last sentence, you might be able to guess that I'm buried in an extreme load of work. I can't believe the books they make us read. Seriously. I'm able to work on a few things here and there, like this journal CSS which took way too long to do, so I'm not going to be gone or seemingly dead.
I'm almost done playing catch-up, so there just might be a chance that I'll get some more free time next month or something... hopefully... probably not...
What about those collabs?
Yeah... about those... I have three collabs in the works right now, two of which the other person is stalling and one of which I'm stalling. They're going to be sweet though, trust me. I just have to find the time to start on that one that's waiting on me.
tee ay gee gee ee dee...
Mrh. I almost forgot that I was tagged by
GinkgoWerkstatt a while ago. I promised I'd follow her up on it the next time I'd do a journal, so here it is.
The rules:1. Post these rules
2. Each person tagged must post 8 random facts about themselves
3. Tags should write a journal/ blog of these facts
4. At the end of the post 8 more persons are tagged and named
5. Go to their page and leave a comment telling them they're taggedRandom facts, oh boy...

I smile a ton. Like, yeah. A ton. People comment on how I never frown or keep a straight face for more than ten minutes.
2
I like even numbers more than odd numbers. No clue why. Maybe because odd numbers are just odd.
3
I almost always set opacities or whatever slider values in programs to nice even intervals, usually in increments of five. If the slider is at 28, I'll type in 30.
4
I apparently have really neat handwriting. Everyone comments on it.

I say "so yeah..." and "but yeah..." and "a ton" a ton. So yeah... now that I mention it to you, you'll notice that I say those phrases a ton. But yeah...

I'm a sucker for customization and pretty stuff (that includes girls). If there's any stupid game where you work to customize your character/stuff/etc, I'll find myself strangely addicted to it. And I find myself always wanting to change the look of stuff and don't like to stick with defaults. Which is why I'm a graphic designer.

I think way too much. I change my mind a lot on small decisions, which is why projects take me a really long time to do. Y'know what, I think I'll go change Urethane's tabs some more... nah, wait... yeah, I should... I think too much about everything else going on in my life, and I daydream often.

I have a still-wrapped Wet-Nap moist towelette thing sitting on my desk here. It's been here for weeks, and I have no clue why. It looks like a condom wrapper.
I tag no one.
I love killing these things.
